David Griffin decided to not take the Knicks job despite the two sides negotiating a contract. The former Cavaliers general manager was considered the favorite to take over as New York's GM, but reports are that current GM Steve Mills made a power play.
According to the New York Daily News, Mills wants to be the president of basketball operations and Griffin reportedly wanted to bring in his own staff.
