Both Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer and Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland (two of the more plugged-in beat writers there) agree the release of Manziel is coming.
What's taken so long? Cleveland's been getting hammered for its behavior thus far in free agency, with questionable negotiation tactics and a loss of plenty of free agents (while retaining Manziel).
