Following the lead of some of golf's most prominent courses, Muirfield will distribute ballots for members to vote on admitting women to the club for the first time, according to the Sunday Times .
Augusta National and St. Andrews recently vacated their men-only status, and now Muirfield — one of only two courses on the British Open rotation currently not open to women — may soon join them.
