After a weekend of supportive messages from his teammates, Ben Simmons is back working out with the Philadelphia 76ers.
He's also undergoing treatment for his mental health and his ailing back. TNT's Allie LaForce cited the 76ers front office in confirming the latest on the mercurial Philadelphia point guard.
LaForce reported during the broadcast of Tuesday's 76ers game against the New York Knicks that Simmons worked out with this teammates as recently as Tuesday morning. She also said that head coach Doc Rivers told her that Simmons "broke the ice" while speaking with his teammates on Friday, calling it "a huge moment" for the team.
