Report: Ben Simmons, 76ers reach settlement to recoup part of nearly $20 million lost in holdout

Ben Simmons is getting at least some of his money back from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Simmons, after a lengthy feud with the 76ers that resulted in him sitting out during the 2021-22 season, reached a settlement with the team on Monday after he filed a grievance against them, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

ESPN Sources: Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers have reached a settlement agreement on the grievance the All-Star guard filed to recoup a portion of the nearly $20 million withheld him as a result of his failure to play games in the 2021-2022 season.
