Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is reportedly going to miss Monday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders because of the NFL's COVID-19 protocols.
Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported both Mayfield and Browns backup Case Keenum weren't able clear protocols with negative test results, so Nick Mullens will start at QB against the Raiders.
Mayfield has battled injuries for the majority of the 2021 season, namely a left shoulder issue that will require surgery in the offseason. He's also played through heel and knee problems.
Through his injury issues, the 26-year-old has posted 2,603 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions, completing 62.
