Former NFL wide receiver James Hardy was found dead this week in his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, at the age of 31. He was most recently with the Baltimore Ravens in 2011, but before that and a stop with the Buffalo Bills, Hardy was a record-setting wide receiver at Indiana.
The former Hoosiers star was a first-team All-Big Ten selection and Biletnikoff Award semi-finalist in 2007, a season that saw him set a new school record with 16 touchdowns. For his career, Hardy is the school's all-time leader in receptions (191), receiving yards (2,740) and receiving touchdowns (36).
