John Farrell apparently will get a slap on the wrist after he deliberately disobeyed umpires Friday.
The Red Sox manager will likely just be fined, not suspended, for remaining in the dugout after he was ejected in the ninth inning against the Yankees, ESPN.com reported.
Farrell was tossed when he got into a heated argument with umpire Ron Kulpa over a two-strike call on David Ortiz. Boston's skipper returned to the dugout, but instead of going back to the clubhouse he stayed.

Farrell then went back on the field after Ortiz charged the field to scream at Kulpa.
