After dropping Blue Jays first baseman Chris Colabello to his knees with an 87-mph plunking to the head Sunday, Red Sox starter Steven Wright sent a unique apology gift to Colabello the next morning.

Colabello arrived in the Toronto clubhouse Monday and saw Wright had left a large bottle of liquor for him.
“Steven decided that he was going to send over a gift,” said Colabello (via The Associated Press), who acknowledged he didn't believe the beaning was intentional.
