BOSTON — Red Sox center fielder Ceddanne Rafaela is hitting .281 with four RBIs, four steals and an .812 OPS in his last 10 games dating back to April 12. But he’s not in the lineup as the Red Sox face the Mariners in the finale of a six-game homestand Thursday afternoon.
Manager Alex Cora is still intent in working David Hamilton into the lineup a couple times a week and will do so Thursday, as Hamilton is starting at second base and Kristian Campbell is playing center field against Seattle and righty Bryan Woo. Carlos Narváez is back behind the plate after Blake Sabol caught Wednesday.
