The Texas Longhorns baseball team has been on a roll so far this season. At 23-3 overall and now 8-1, the Chris Del Conte hiring of new baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle looks to be paying off big time. The Horns kept it going up in Missouri this weekend, sweeping the Tigers in three games 15-4, 7-4 and 7-1.
The teams moved Sunday's game up and played a double-header on Saturday to avoid severe weather. Schlossnagle said his team handled the condensed schedule well. “Just super proud of our team. They played 25 innings in 36 hours,” he said.
