A Liberty season that began with an off-court to-do over the hiring of Isiah Thomas as team president has turned into a great one on the basketball court. The Liberty sit on top of the W.N.B.A.’s Eastern Conference at 13-6. Should the team maintain that .684 winning percentage over its final 15 games, it would finish with the best record in franchise history.
It is quite a contrast from last year, when the Liberty finished 15-19 and missed the playoffs. So what has changed?
