After leaving home three years ago to chase a major-league career, Dayron Varona finally got to go back.
The Cuban outfielder had an emotional reunion with eight members of his family Sunday following his arrival at the Rays' hotel in Havana. Varona's family convened in the lobby of the Melia Cohiba and waited more than two hours until the team arrived before 11 p.m. ET.
