Raymond Moore quits Indian Wells post after making sexist remarks about women's players

Raymond Moore resigned as Indian Wells CEO and director of the BNP Paribas Open on Monday, one day after making disparaging comments about women's tennis.

Moore found himself mired in controversy over the weekend during the BNP Paribas Open, after he said female players ride the "coattails" of their male counterparts. He was heavily criticized for the comments, which came as Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka clinched titles.
