Two days after riots broke out in the neighborhood around their school, students at Frederick Douglass High School received a visit from Ray Lewis and Ravens coach John Harbaugh.
As For The Win wrote earlier this week, Lewis — despite his past and being retired — wields incredible influence in Baltimore, where he is beloved.
The visit to Frederick Douglass was one part of the Ravens outreach to their home city, which is still reeling in the aftermath of the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old man who died after a spinal injury suffered while he was in police custody.
