Ravens get much-needed good Breshad Perriman news

Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman "will be fine for this season," an unidentified source told ESPN.com after an examination Monday by Dr. James Andrews. An arthroscopic procedure Tuesday showed he didn't need reconstructive surgery on his injured left knee.

Perriman appeared to confirm to the good news on his Twitter feed Tuesday afternoon.

The team feared after Perriman hurt the knee trying to catch a pass Thursday during OTAs that he might be lost for a second consecutive season.
