The NFL takes no issue with teams handing out painkillers like Halloween candy, or players taking injections of Toradol before, during and after games to quickly (and temporarily) erase pain. So why not let players smoke a little weed to help with chronic pain? At least that’s what Ravens offensive lineman Eugene Monroe is asking.
Monroe said “all over our country people are addicted (to painkillers), and that's happening in our locker rooms” to CNN for a story headlined “Is it time for football to reconsider marijuana?"
