The best game of the weekend, at least on paper, was the San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens. The 49ers headed east with the best record in the NFC, and the Ravens were on a seven-game win streak that included a convincing victory over the AFC-leading New England Patriots.
Baltimore picked up its eighth straight win thanks to a last-second, 49-yard game-winning field goal from Justin Tucker. The final score was 20-17.
It was the 38th consecutive fourth-quarter made field goal for Tucker, who has the highest career field goal percentage in NFL history.
Both teams leaned on their strong defenses: the 49ers held the Ravens to just 3-of-10 on third-down conversions and 283 yards of offense, their second-lowest total of the season.
