Apparently, the Rams didn't spend any time at practice this week trying to catch long passes. Or at least if they did, it definitely hasn't translated over to Thursday night's game in Seattle.
During the first quarter, Rams rookie receiver Michael Thomas dropped what probably would've been a 59-yard touchdown catch. On a first-and-10 play from the Rams' 41-yard line, rookie quarterback Jared Goff dropped back to pass and threw a nearly perfect ball to Thomas, who was 45 yards downfield.
