The Rams will be on "Hard Knocks" this summer, but according to a report Wednesday, they could have been on the HBO show in 2014 had it not been for an arrangement the team made with the NFL during that year's draft.
According to longtime NFL reporter Howard Balzer, the Rams agreed to select Missouri defensive end Michael Sam in exchange for the NFL not considering them for the show.

After being named the Southeastern Conference's co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2013, Sam came out as gay before the NFL Scouting Combine.
