The Los Angeles Rams’ running back room is likely to look very similar to last season’s group. Kyren Williams will be back as he enters the final year of his contract, with Blake Corum backing him up.
On Sunday, the Rams agreed to a one-year deal with third-string running back Ronnie Rivers. Rivers started last season as the backup to Williams before being overtaken by Corum on the depth chart.
He’s spent the last three seasons with the Rams, carrying it 63 times for 249 yards. He’s also caught 15 passes for 85 yards. Rivers has yet to score a touchdown in the NFL but Sean McVay and his coaches are big fans of the 26-year-old elusive runner.
