NBC must have found disappointment in the rain that hampered on-track action at Texas Motor Speedway. The network was covering the Sprint Cup race from the track, the second of three races in the Round of 8 but as of 4:50 p.m. ET, the only on-track action had featured the jet dryers.
NASCAR was working to get the track dried and the race underway. Meanwhile, NBC was offering a varied and in-depth amount of coverage, including driver interviews and features, during the delay.
