We're definitely getting late on day three of the draft. The Raiders just drafted a player who has three different positions. He is Montana State QB Tommy Mellott. He played QB at Montana State but most seem to see him as a receiver and possible return specialist. The Raiders selected him at 213 at the bottom of the sixth round.
In that, he would compare to former Patriots receiver Julian Edelman. Which would make sense considering the Tom Brady influence with the Raiders.
Mellott was as successful on the ground as he was through the air at Montana State.
