Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr fumbled a snap early in the third quarter that led to a Carolina Panthers touchdown. But that was least of Oakland's concern.
Carr jammed his right pinkie, which appeared to be dislocated. Carr's face showed obvious agony and he was screaming in pain as he headed to the locker room. Team doctors were going to try to snap Carr's little finger back into place.
Matt McGloin was under center on Oakland's next possession. Carr appeared on the sideline midway through the third quarter with a black glove on his right hand before somehow returning to whizz a 17-yard completion to tight end Clive Walford on his first pass attempt.
