When the Oakland Raiders opened training camp on Saturday they did so in celebratory fashion, knowing the man in charge of building the roster would be sticking around for four more years.
That's because Mark Davis announced Friday night a four-year extension for general manager Reggie McKenzie, a stunning turn of events given where the Raiders were just a couple of years ago.
"Reggie's contract was up at the end of this year, and we felt was time to reward him for the job that he has done," said Mark Davis.
