A wrist injury forced nine-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal to withdraw from the tournament.
Nadal defeated Argentina's Facundo Bagnis to reach the third round on Thursday, but revealed he played following an injection to the injured area. With no sign of improvement, Nadal said Friday, he decided not to continue at Roland Garros.
