Beloved NBA broadcaster Craig Sager died on Thursday at the age of 65, after a two-year battle with leukemia.
Rachel Nichols, who worked with Craig Sager for three years at Turner Sports, had the heartbreaking job of delievering the news of his death at the beginning of Thursday's episode of The Jump on ESPN2.
Nichols turned the report into an emotional and touching tribute.
“Welcome to The Jump. Literally two of three minutes ago we were informed that our friend Craig Sager has passed away. I’m very sorry to inform you all. Craig, as so many of you know, had such a valiant fight against leukemia.
