USC star quarterback Caleb Williams has long been considered the top prospect in the 2024 NFL draft class, and some scouts believe he's in rare air when it comes to certain traits.
A private quarterbacks coach told The Athletic's Ted Nguyen that Williams' arm strength is unmatched and his ability to thrive in chaos is comparable to two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes.
"Regarding NFL readiness, no prospect has a foundation for throwing and movement efficiency like Caleb," the coach said. "Although his arm strength is the first percentile, he can throttle and adapt his throw at a similar level to (Patrick) Mahomes.
