The D-backs return from their longest road trip since 2010 with a bit of a sour taste in their mouths. After going 5-3 in the first eight games, they dropped three in a row in Miami to finish the trip with a losing record.
They arrive back home with a 34-25 record and in third place in the NL West, two games behind Colorado, after having pulled into a tie with the Rockies on Thursday. The good news is that they are back at Chase Field, where their 21-8 record is the best home-field record of any team in the majors.
