French center Joan Beringer told ESPN on Friday that he is declaring for the 2025 NBA draft after playing this season in the Adriatic League in Slovenia.
Beringer is averaging 4.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks on 61% shooting from the field in 51 games with Cedevita Olimpija. He has scored in double figures six times, including a season-high 12 points and five rebounds on March 4.
The 6-foot-11 forward, who boasts a reported 7-foot, 5-inch wingspan, is projected to be a first-round pick, given his versatility, athleticism and rim protection. He is considered raw offensively, but has the tools to develop into a productive player at the next level.
