Suspended USC linebacker Osa Masina has been charged with first-degree rape and two counts of forcible sodomy in Salt Lake City, Utah. Masina has surrendered himself to Salt Lake County jail with bail set at $250,000 for his release.

All three felony charges are in the first degree and carry potential prison time of five years to life, according to Masina's attorney Greg Skordas, who spoke with ESPN.

Masina is also being investigated for sexually assaulting the same woman from the Utah case in Los Angeles, although no charges have been filed in the Los Angeles case yet.
