French police carried out a controlled explosion prior to the start of the France-Iceland Euro 2016 quarterfinal match on Sunday, per the Associated Press.

The report says it was done to open the door of a car parked near the Stade de France three and a half hours before the match. The car was parked in an illegal area, which caused the brief security scare.

Authorities weren't taking any chances. Just last November, 130 people were killed in Paris by terrorists and an explosion in that attack took place just outside of the Stade de France.
