Pocono forecast isn't promising for Sunday's scheduled Sprint Cup race

Overnight rain impacted racing at Pocono, where Sprint Cup drivers were scheduled to practice at 11 a.m. ET Saturday.

They might have the best time of the day for being on the track. Rain is expected in the afternoon, meaning the weekend Truck Series race will likely face delays.

Forecasts called for rain this weekend, with the possibility of enough precipitation to force postponement of Sunday's Pennsylvania 400. If that happens, it would mirror the Pocono spring race, which had to be run on Monday, 24 hours after its scheduled start.

Overnight rain forced cancellation of Saturday's qualifying in the Truck Series.
