Jung Ho Kang hit Korea's only home run at the 2013 World Baseball Classic, but he won't get a chance to represent his country in the latest edition of the international tournament.
Manager In-sik Kim dropped Kang from the roster for this spring's event on Wednesday in the wake of the Pirates infielder's recent arrest on DUI charges in Seoul.
Kim had previously told Yonhap News he was "leaning toward" making the change, but made it official after meeting with his coaching staff Wednesday.
"As we all know, Kang has had some issues," Kim said at a press conference, via Yonhap.
