The Las Vegas Raiders have unveiled the logo for their 65th anniversary season.
The roman numeral for No. 65 (LXV) takes centerstage on the logo. Per the Raiders public relations team, the LX represents the team's 60 years in Oakland and Los Angeles, and the V denotes the team's now five years in Las Vegas.
If you break it down even further, the XV part also represents the 15th Super Bowl, when the then-Oakland Raiders beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 in January 1981.
The Raiders began play in 1960 in the American Football League as one of eight original franchises.
