The head of Philadelphia’s police union has been critical of District Attorney R. Seth Williams' investigation into a February nightclub fight involving Bills running back LeSean McCoy and several off-duty police officers.

When the district attorney's office announced Monday it had found insufficient evidence to charge McCoy for his alleged role in the incident, John McNesby, president of Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, had a few choice words.
"Apparently assaults are prosecuted everywhere except in Philadelphia, particularly when the victims are police officers," McNesby wrote in a letter to union members.
