Rory McIlroy blamed putting woes for his disappointing start to the PGA Championship on Thursday and insisted he is satisfied with his play from tee to green.
A four-time major champion and the winner of this event in 2012 and 2014, McIlroy opened up with a 4-over 74 at Baltusrol to sit nine strokes behind early leader Jimmy Walker.
