Jimmy Walker shook off a slow start Sunday to grab the 54-hole lead at the PGA Championship.
Still searching for his first major win, Walker bogeyed three of his first eight holes in Round 3 — which was delayed until Sunday morning because of storms. Walker bounced back with four birdies and no bogeys on the back nine to shoot a 2-under 68 to take a one shot lead at 11 under.
Jason Day shot a bogey-free 3-under 67 in Round 3 to get to within one shot of the lead at 10 under. Day had not birdied a par 5 all week, but he ended that disappointing streak with a birdie on the par-5 18th Sunday morning.
