On Monday afternoon, Peyton Manning officially retired from the NFL.
Following speeches from team president Joe Ellis, team general manager John Elway and head coach Gary Kubiak, Manning took to the stage in Denver to deliver his retirement speech.

After 18 years in the NFL, Manning got choked up when talking about the first time he met Johnny Unitas, the Colts' legendary quarterback who Manning hoped to emulate.

Peyton later talked about how his daughter Mosely asked him about whether or not he was going to retire, and how he can't wait to teach her, along with his son Marshall, about the little things in life.
