A bombshell allegation emerged on Saturday with news organization Al Jazeera linking Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning to usage of human growth hormone in 2011.
Manning responded Saturday night, telling reporters the allegations are "complete garbage." He spoke out again Sunday, telling ESPN he is rotating "between being angry, furious, disgusted, sickened by it" and that the story is "completely fabricated."
"It's completely fabricated. Complete trash, complete garbage," Manning said. "There's some more adjectives I'd like to be able to use. It makes me sick. Makes me sick that it brings Ashley [his wife] into it, her medical history, her medical privacy being violated.
