If free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick is going to sign with a team for the 2017 season, it doesn't sound like it will be with the Seattle Seahawks.
Per Sheil Kapadia of ESPN, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said on Friday he sees Kaepernick as "a starter in this league," and added they "have a starter" in Russell Wilson.
When asked if the Seahawks had moved on from Kaepernick, Kapadia noted Carroll said the team is always looking to improve and kept the door open.
Since opting out of his deal with the San Francisco 49ers in March, Kaepernick has been unable to generate much interest on the free-agent market.
