The Golden State Warriors completed their conquest of the NBA playoffs Monday, knocking off the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 in Game 5 of the Finals at Oracle Arena. With the win, Golden State became the third team to lose just one game during its run through the NBA postseason — the first to do it in the four best-of-seven rounds format — and considering the 15.7-point margin of victory in those 16 wins, there’s a strong argument to be made that the club’s second title in three years marked the most dominant playoff showing in pro sports history. However, in the spirit of debate, here are 12 other perfect or near-perfect playoff efforts in the four major American sports:
