Penn State University challenged the initial ruling in former assistant football coach and Jerry Sandusky whistleblower Mike McQueary's multimillion dollar defamation case, and now the school will wind up paying even more.
A senior judge on Wednesday ruled in favor of McQueary on the last pending count in the case and awarded $4.97 million in additional damages to be paid by the school, bringing the total award in the case to nearly $12 million.
