Paul George might have been in rumors linking him to the Lakers all summer, but the place he ended up was Oklahoma City. Now that he's a member of the Thunder, he'll be teaming up with reigning MVP Russell Westbrook. One might think he would take a step back next to him and become a secondary star next to Westbrook, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
At the Nike NBA statement jersey reveal, George represented the Thunder and modeled the new jersey. Before the reveal, however, he talked with Dennis Scott of NBA TV about his goal to win MVP next season while also helping Westbrook.
