Following two injury-plagued seasons, the Patriots have given up on Dominique Easley.
The Patriots announced Wednesday they released the defensive lineman, whom they selected 29th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. But Easley has had difficulty staying on the field.

The 24-year-old played in 22 games over two seasons, both of which ended with the former Florida defensive tackle landing on injured reserve. His rookie season came to an end because of a quadriceps injury, while the 2015 campaign ended with a knee injury.
