The Patriots are always ready to pounce when another NFL team moves on from a talented but troubled player.
Their latest such addition came on Thursday, when they claimed former Cardinals wide receiver MIchael Floyd off waivers. It had been a tumultuous week for Floyd, which started with his arrest on drunken driven charges and his coach in Arizona, Bruce Arians, having zero tolerance for his misstep.
Now he's with Bill Belichick in New England, or the league's house of sudden reformation. The Patriots' best reclamation case in point is running back LeGarette Blount (twice), who this year has rushed for a career-high 1,029 yards and 14 TDs at age 30.
