Patrick Mahomes Will Earn $1.25M Contract Bonus if Chiefs Beat 49ers in Super Bowl 58

In addition to further cementing himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has significant financial incentive to beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday.

According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, Mahomes' contract dictates that he will be paid an additional $1.25 million if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.

Jones also noted that Mahomes, who signed a 10-year, $450 million contract with the Chiefs in 2020, is likely to restructure his contract once again this coming offseason to get more upfront cash and create salary cap space for the team.
