It wasn't easy, but the Kansas City Chiefs completed their third straight climb to the mountaintop of the AFC.
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 32-29 win over the Buffalo Bills in Sunday's AFC Championship Game to clinch Kansas City's third consecutive trip to the Super Bowl. The team will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9, marking a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.
Mahomes threw for 245 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions on 18-of-26 passing and also added 11 carries for 43 yards and two more scores on the ground.
