Panthers running back Cameron Artis-Payne was arrested early Sunday in a Charlotte suburb and charged with reckless driving and speeding.
According to The Charlotte Observer, a N.C. State Highway Patrol officer arrested Payne around 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 85 in Gaston County, just west of Charlotte. Artis-Payne's Dodge Challenger was clocked at 102 mph in a 65 mph zone.

A highway patrol spokesman told the Observer neither alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident. The spokesman said Artis-Payne was “very polite and cooperative during the whole process.
