Packers rush defense doing things we've rarely seen

The Packers defense achieved on Sunday what only one other defense has done since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger.

After limiting the Lions to 50 rush yards on 23 carries, Green Bay has allowed just 128 total rush yards through three games this season.

This puts them on a level with the 2006 Ravens when it comes to the best starts we've seen from a team's rush defense in almost 60 years. Packers opponents have averaged a microscopic 1.80 yards per carry through three weeks, a number bested — barely — only by those Ravens since the merger.
